The MULTI FORUM 2007 is a major international conference focused on innovations that improve European integration activities in the field of higher education. This conference will be an International Forum for Dialogue on Multi-Culturality, Multi-Ethnicity, and Multi-Disciplinarity in Education and Sciences with a view to the European Integration. The conference will be held in Athens, Greece, the place where the European system of education started 25 centuries ago.

The higher education faces significant challenges in crossing international, cultural, and social borders in order to expand the pool of those entering higher education and prepare the graduates to become successful in the global economy with diverse groups of people. Successfully addressing these issues will require innovative solutions and approaches that improve student learning, partnerships among academia, industry, government and curricular reform.

The Forum intends to build bridges between Europe and the entire world, by inviting experts from universities and professional institutions from countries EC members, EC candidates as well as EC non members, from Europe, Asia, America, Africa, etc. Its audience is teachers, students, researchers, women professionals, women students, academics, professional groups, entrepreneurs and the general public.

In March 2007, in the city of Athens, the Steering Committee of the MULTI FORUM 2007 is inviting full papers and communications that address issues related to how the higher education can identify and surmount international, cultural and social borders. The technical program will include plenary meeting, paper presentations, special sessions and workshops. Contributions are being solicited for scientific results as well as works-in-progress. Proposals also are invited for special sessions and workshops.
